Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Tuesday night we went back to Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  The tickets for the party were Miller's birthday gift from Pop and Gran and we'd heard awesome things about it.  I was a little nervous about the fact that Miller refused to nap that afternoon and I knew it would be a late night.  He started out a little cranky and difficult, but warmed up as the night went on {as you will see}.

Our only pictures in front of the castle.  Next time, we'll do some while we're fresh!

We rode a few rides, had dinner at Tony's Town Square, and then found a spot for the parade.
Belle, Handy Manny and Batman

Blurry pic of Miller, but the lights all over the park were so cool!
After the parade, it went trick-or-treating for a little while.

We didn't do a very good job of finding a spot for the fireworks.  If we do it again, I'll be sure to find a spot sooner.  It was still fun to see some of the fireworks, but I'd love to have a better view next time.  After the fireworks, mom watched Miller while Bryant and I rode Space Mountain.  When we came out from riding it, the park had cleared out!  Bryant went back to the hotel to study for a big test he had coming up, but mom and I decided to stay and ride "a couple" of rides with Miller.  We ended up closing the park down at midnight!!  It was just too good to pass up no lines and Miller was in the best mood!  I think we rode more in those two hours than in an entire day in the park.
Sending daddy an update.  He was happier than he looks!
LAST ride of the night!  Of course it was his favorite, Splash Mountain.

Starting to look a little sleepy on our way out of the park...
and out by the time we made it to the monorail!
This was one of my favorite things we did and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who travels to Disney when they have a party.  We slept in {until about 8:30, ha!} the next morning and he really was ok the next day at Animal Kingdom.  Thanks for a fun night, Pop and Gran!
